Biosphere Reserve of Ca Mau cape covers an area 371 506 ha with 3 regions: Region core 17.329ha , buffer 43.309 ha and transition zones 310.868 ha. At the Region core divided into three small areas are strictly protected by Ca Mau National Park, U Minh Ha National Park, and protective forests western coastal. It has many ecosystems typical characteristics such as mangrove ecosystem, cajuput forest ecosystem on peat wetlands, marine ecosystems ... each ecosystem were stored resources biological, geological resource rich have high conservation value. U Minh is the name of a district in Ca Mau province, the southernmost tip of Vietnam. U Minh is famous with U Minh mangrove forest. There are also projects of Air - Power - Urea of Ca Mau is being built in Khanh An commune. Commuter traffic of district are mostly waterway, the roads undeveloped. U Minh lands in Biosphere Reserve of Ca Mau cape has been recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the World.
