Cham Islam is a religious of Cham people (Vietnamese: ngÆ°á»i Chăm or ngÆ°á»i Chà m) development much in Phan Rang, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and An Giang. Muslims in South Vietnam is Cham Muslim Islam, orthodox Muslim, belonging to the Syafi'i sect Sunni and frequent contact with the Muslim world in Cambodia and Malaysia. Cham people form the core of the Muslim communities in Vietnam. Muslims in Malaysia have great influence with the Cham people in Vietnam through khutba songs composed in Malay, Cham people often look to Malaysia to practice and receive the teachings of Islam across the ideological interpretation of Malay Muslims. The adherents of Islam always maintain strict regulations on religious beliefs of Islamic law.
