Tien Giang Province has great potential for tourism. Every year, the number of visitors increasing every year. In 2012, Tien Giang number of visitors is estimated at over 936 500 visitors. The strength of tourism mainly due to the historical and cultural relics and ecological as Oc Eo cultural relics, Go Thanh (from the first century to the sixth century AD), historical Rach Gam - Xoai Mut, Ap Bac… and many tombs, temples as Truong Dinh tomb, Royal Tomb, Vinh Trang Pagoda, Buu Lam Pagoda, Sac Tu Pagoda. The New Eco-Tourism destination is embellished as orchards in Thoi Son islet, Ngu Hiep, Dong Tam Snake Farm, ecological zones of Dong Thap Muoi and particularly are areas of traditional villages located along the Tien river in Dong Hoa Hiep commune, Cai Be, Tien Giang province, Vietnam. This villages specialized production and sales of traditional products of famous local such as coconut candy, cake, cereal, honey and handicraft items.
