Standing Buddha Pagoda (common name Quan Am pagoda) is located in Thuy Bang commune, Huong Thuy district, Thua Thien - Hue Province, Vietnam. Surrounded of Pagoda is of green endless pine forests with fresh air, cool - a place of pure meditation subjects for long distance travelers. Pagoda has Guan Yin Statue 21m high, 14m-high statue parts, base 7m high, 2.2 m high, weighing 24.6 tons cement, has 145 stairs leading up to the statue. This is the Quan Am statue largest in Thua Thien - Hue was built in 1969, statue was restored in 1999. Standing approximately 1 km distance, visitors can easily see Quan Am statue lofty standing on a Tu Tuong mountain, as sheltered and protected the people of Hue ancient citadel rid of the sufferings in life.
