Van Phuc Silk Village or or Ha Dong Silk Village (now in Van Phuc Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi center about 10 km) is a silk weaving village famous beauties from thousands of years ago. Located on the banks of Nhue river, Van Phuc silk village retains much less ancient beauty of the old village as the old banyan tree, wells, courtyard temple, each evening local people meeting marketplace under the banyan tree before courtyard temple. "Ha Dong Silk" as well as the products of traditional craft villages in Hanoi, often referred to in ancient poetry. In many families, ancient looms have been retained, interspersed with modern mechanical looms.
