Tam Bao Pagoda is a renowned ancient temple in scenic Ha Tien, each year welcoming tens of thousands of tourists, Buddhists come visiting, worship. Tam Bao pagoda is located at number 75 Phuong Thanh street , San Binh ward, Ha Tien Town, Kien Giang province. Tam Bao Pagoda belong Mahayana sects, campus of pagoda about 2.5 hectares, the facade of the pagoda towards the east. History Books Pagodas in Kien Giang (Most Venerable Thich Giac Phuoc editor, Publisher Ho Chi Minh City, 2002) said Tam Bao pagoda founded in 1730, the first abbot of the temple is Most Venerable An Ha also who opening of Ha Tien Buddhist origin. From 1974 to the present, nun Thich Nu Nhu Hai (name Huynh Thi Phuoc), Deputy Head of the Buddhist province of Kien Giang abbot. Ancient temple damaged, leaving only traces in the walls, Tam Bao Pagoda was renovated several times and currently (05/2014), the pagoda is in the process of repairing area the Tam quan gate. Pagoda's campus has some typical works such as Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva high 5m, weighs 7 tons (1974), Thousand Eyes Thousand Hands statue (1987), Shakyamuni Buddha statue meditating under the Tree of Enlightenment (1983), Maitreya statue (2000), Di Mau statue and 6 bhikkhus in 2003.
