Long Xuyen City is a city located in An Giang province, is also a center of politics, economy, culture and science and technology of the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. In 2009, the Government has recognized the city of Long Xuyen is a grade city II under An Giang province. Long Xuyen City has My Thoi Port, two big ferries is Vam Cong and An Hoa, two smaller ferries is O Moi and Tra On. Long Xuyen City has three monuments are ranked nationally, including: House souvenir boyhood President Ton Duc Thang (which have been classified as National Monuments especially 2012), My Phuoc temple, Bac De temple (Ong pagoda). Additionally, Long Xuyen city also there is Nguyen Du Park, Hai Ba Trung Square, Long Xuyen floating market ... a lot of tourists come to visit here.
