Son La Prison is a prison built by the French in Son La province. The prison was built in 1908, on the Khau Ca hill of Son La city, initially only a small prison, after gradually improving provincial prisons with increasing number of prisoners. Only in the period 1930-1945, the French were imprisoned, exiled here in 1007 respectively Vietnam revolutionary fighters and other patriots.
