Bat Trang Pottery Village in Gia Lam district located south of Hanoi has long been famous for its ceramic products bearing the name of this village. The village the first appears in the 14th century when people make pottery from Bo Bat village of Ninh Binh province and Ninh Trang village of Thanh Hoa province gathered in here to set up a new village called Bat Trang. Bat Trang pottery village only really developed after 1954, when North Vietnam entered a period of peace. Many designs and traditional types of enamel artisans restored village, Bat Trang products quickly gaining reputation. Bat Trang is now not only a pure production villages, with many of the beliefs, with culture and famous ceramic products, the village became a tourist attraction places of the city of Hanoi.
