Bac Ninh is a province with the smallest area of Vietnam in Red River Delta and is located on the key of Northern Economic Zone. Bac Ninh is located 30 km from the center of Hanoi in the north-east, bordering northern Bac Giang province, eastern and southeastern provinces of Hai Duong and Hung Yen province to the south. In addition, Bac Ninh is located over there are two economic corridor as Con Minh - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh and Nam Ninh - Lang Son - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh. Bac Ninh is the center of origin of ancient Kinh Bac, is a province famous for the Quan ho Folk songs recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO on September 30, 2009. Currently the province Bac Ninh, there are about 41 notable Festivals during the year is maintained, including major Festivals such as: Dau Pagoda Festival, Lim Festival, Den Do Festival, Ba Chua Kho temple Festival… Bac Ninh people have cultural tradition, hospitable, industrious and creative, with the skillful hands of the hundreds folk jobs with bold as silk, ceramics, bronze casting, engraved silver, wood carving, paper making, folk paintings... and most notably the Quan ho Folk songs.
