Hue Ancient Citadel was the capital of Vietnam national unity since 1802, when Nguyen Anh was crowned emperor beginning of the Nguyen Dynasty, the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam's history. 1945, when Bao Dai - the last emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty abdicated, Vietnam's capital was once again selected as Hanoi, Hue capital became Hue ancient capital. December 11, 1993 in a meeting in Carthagene (Colombia), the Council has enrolled relics Hue in World Heritage List.
