The Emperor Citadel was the capital of the Tay Son dynasty in the history of Vietnam from 1776 to 1793. The Emperor Citadel located in Quy Nhon city about 20 miles northwest, a region located on a hill compared to around delta today is located in Nhon Hau commune, An Nhon Town, Binh Dinh. In 1776, after defeating Lord Nguyen, Nguyen Nhac throne Tay Son and built in the capital position on the old platform of Do Ban Ancient Citadel, after abandoned more than 300 years Emperor Citadel to the remnants not much, only surviving pair of stone lions the King of Champa.
