Ninh Thuan is a coastal province in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. The provincial capital is the city of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, close to Ho Chi Minh City about 350 km to the south, 105 km from Nha Trang, Da Lat, 110 km to and from Cam Ranh Airport is approximately 60 km, upon facilitate the exchange socio-economic development of the province. When Ninh Thuan province was re-established (1992), Phan Rang Thap Cham merged with the town of Phan Rang-Thap Cham, and became the province of Ninh Thuan. Early in February 2007, Phan Rang - Thap Cham city became the Decree of the Government.
