The Northeast region is the region north of the Red River Delta, Vietnam. Northeast called to distinguish it from the Northwest, it was actually in the north and northeast of Hanoi, North Vietnam broader region. There are also a number of small deltas, such as Khe, Lang Son, Loc Binh and Cao Bang.
