Northeast (Đông Bắc) include 9 provinces: Hà Giang, Cao Bằng, Bắc Kạn, Lạng SÆ¡n, Tuyên Quang, Thái Nguyên, Phú Thọ, Bắc Giang, Quảng Ninh. Northeast Region is the region north of the Red River Delta, Vietnam.  Northeast called to distinguish it from the Northwest, it was actually in the north and northeast of Hanoi, North Vietnam broader region.
