Ca Mau is the southernmost coastal province of Vietnam, located in the Mekong Delta. Ca Mau is a land of young, newly explored over 300 years, the land is flooded marsh, has many sedge dusty that grows natural and wild. Ca Mau is lowlands, frequently flooded, currently has landslide phenomena in both the East and West coasts. Ca Mau Forest is a special forest type of ecosystem - forest ecosystem coastal mangrove was distribution along the coast with a length of 254 km. Besides, Ca Mau also has cajuput forest ecosystem located in the U Minh districts, Tran Van Thoi, Thoi Binh with scale area is 35,000 ha. The area of mangrove forests in Ca Mau mangrove forests occupy total 77% area of the Mekong River Delta.
